Mission & Vision of NCC, Manchester

Mission & Vision of NCC, Manchester

Vision

To be part of the Church Jesus Christ is building and to build our church after the New Testament pattern.

Mission-Our mission is primarily focused on the building up of the individual within an organized structured framework and an atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. It is being able to provide all that is necessary for an individual to become a bride without spot or blemish,” a living sacrifice acceptable before God, and a vessel of honour of the master’s use. In other words, we are committed to “Disciplining the nations”.

Our History-From humble beginnings in the home of one of the founding members (Papa &Mama Ajayi) in March 2001, the Church began her first Sunday Services in May 2001 and was officially inaugurated on 10th of June 2001. She acquired her first property in Earl Walk, Longsight before moving to the present location at 1 Matthew’s Lane, Levenshulme, Manchester M12 4QW in September 2005.

Our Statement of Faith

The authority of the Bible - We believe that the Holy Spirit is the author of the Bible and inspired men who wrote down the infallible Scriptures.

The Holy Trinity – We believe that the Godhead is made up of three persons who are equal in one although they have different functions comprising of God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit.

The Virgin Birth - We believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary following conception by the Holy Spirit.

Death & Resurrection of Jesus Christ- We believe that Jesus died on the cross of Calvary following crucifixion, for the sins of mankind, was buried and resurrected bodily on the third day. He is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven as our High priest.

Salvation - The shed blood of Jesus and his resurrection is the sole means of salvation to all those who believe through faith on Jesus. It is the free gift of God.

Baptism & Communion - We believe that have been commanded to be done by all believers.Baptism should be by immersion in water while the Communion is a remembrance of the death of Jesus .

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ –Jesus will come again   John 14:2-3; Rev 22:12
